Usana Health Sciences makes the best essential vitamins with chelated minerals and antioxidants! the company came up with resveratrol 16 years before it became popular! Acai is a fad, Grape seed extract is way better and has been used since beginning of time! acai has only 200 more ORAC than blueberries and strawberries!

lutein and zeaxanthin are isomers meaning they have the same molecular formula but different structure. Many studdies support the view that these two antioxidants help protect against macular degeneration and miight prevent cataract developement. Lutein and zeaxanthin is found in eggs, spinach and other green vegetables…

Zeaxxanthin is a carotenoid contained within the retina of the eye. It is in the central macula, lutein instead is found in the peripheral retina. Both of these components are found in the childrens noagin they are perfect for people who stay all day long on PC’s or kids who play a lot of video games… they can prevent or even reverse eye damage from the cellular level!

If the antioxidants/supplements come from a natural plant, vegetable, fruit/ food it is more (bio available) to the body for absorption, there are many super food/supplements that are are just dehydrated ground up powder forms of sea vegetables, grasses, roots, (superfoods)

Very interesting, Ive never thought of the relation between cancer and wrinkles! very true! I have been researching health & healing, I feel that natural/holistic healing is the strongest & best form of healing. It is amazing how the cure lays in mother nature herself purely without harsh side effects, without doing more damage than good!

Antioxidants help prevent cell damage and early aging. Antioxidants cannot be synthesized in the body and therefore should be supplemented in the diet.

I think this is true. I mean, everything is affected by food, in our body. I mean… once i had very bad hayfever, and then i ate lots of vegetables for a couple of days and later on i had no symptoms even though others were still suffering. I don’t know much about antioxidents but I do know it makes a difference to proper formation of your cels. You can’t just paint over things, if you want to be healthy then you must start from inside out. I think this is his message

I’m not a doctor first off, and regardless of the direct impact antioxidants have on free radicals, an antioxidant is simply a label.. a tool. It provides a more tangible entity for people who aren’t medical scientists which allows them (us) to have more control over their body’s internal balance.

The sad thing about medical discoveries is that they are horribly commercialized and eventually over done by those who don’t know better. In reality it should be treated carefully and in moderation

Everyone (who pays attention) knows that anti-oxidents are imperative to getting rid of free radicals.
My wife and I were looking at a house that was for sale, and the owner had a corvette ( which was a 1985 pace car in the indy 500 ) in their garage and the car was in a plastic bubble! i asked my science teacher friend and he said it was probably filled with nitrogen, to prevent the oxygen from destroying / aging the car.

We need to eat many different foods. Each type works in different tissues of the body, in different parts of cells. Some are good at quenching some free radicals, some are better at quenching others.

Antioxidants reach in and grab toxins kinda magnetically and carry them out of the body. Its like federal express pick up and ship out system that runs throughout the body. Its hot potatoe, don’t get burned my friends…

Technically, Astaxanthin is much stronger than zeaxanthin… however, zeaxanthin tends to have better absorbsion in the eyes, skin and optic / auditory nerves
